NSP acquires Summit Solutions, names new CEO
National Security Partners' acquisition of Summit Solution expands its cybersecurity footprint.
National Security Partners LLC, a service provider to the intelligence community, Defense Department and other federal agencies, announced the acquisition of Summit Solutions in a December company statement.
Summit Solutions is a rapidly growing woman-owned, veteran-owned small business and was named on the 2009 Washington Technology Fast 50 list. Summit offers services to the federal government including strategic planning, cybersecurity analysis and intelligence systems engineering services.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
National Security Partners said the deal complements its May 2011 acquisition of cybersecurity policy, cyber analytics and mission support provider Point One LLC.
"Combining Summit Solutions with Point One expands our footprint within the cybersecutiry and intelligence communities, enhances our ability to provide the highest level of service to our customers and gives our employees significant opportunities for professional development," said J.O. McFalls, National Security Partners director and president, in the statement.
In other company news, Maureen Baginski has been selected as the company's new CEO.
Baginski's former employment includes 24 years at the National Security Agency and three years at the FBI. She is the recipient two Presidential Rank Awards and numerous other honors.
