ManTech provides Army with counter-IED logistics
The $28 million award calls for systems integration and installation, equipment repair, other services.
ManTech International Corp. will provide specialized logistics support services to the Army under a three-year subcontract valued at $28 million.
The award from PD Systems Inc. calls for ManTech specifically to provide logistics support to the Army’s Product Manager, Improvised Explosive Device Defeat/Protect Force.
Under the contract, ManTech will provide the unit with systems integration and installation, equipment repair, troubleshooting, training, parts management and asset tracking across the entire range of the Protect Force’s equipment.
The work will be performed at sites in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman and 40 others in the United States and abroad.
ManTech International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 22 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
