Cole captures Army training contract

Cole Engineering Services has won a $40.2 million contract with the Army to provide integration, interoperability and support for the Army’s One Semi-Automated Forces product.

Known as OneSAF, the simulation product is used for training, analysis, research, experimentation and mission planning and rehearsal, the company said.

Cole will lead a team that will integrate and test new OneSAF product content and capabilities. Cole Engineering also will provide oversight of co-developer content providers, product baseline configuration control, maintenance, distribution and support.

The company is based in Orlando, Fla. The contract is being managed out of the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.

Cole also has brought on a new chief operating officer, Matt Thompson, who is joining the company from Camber Corp. He started his new position Nov. 7.
