American Systems adds professional services vet as unit VP

American Systems taps veteran executive Edward Lussier to be its vice president and executive director of the Professional Services Federal Market business.

“We anticipate great success within professional services under his leadership, and are particularly eager to grow this offering,” said American Systems President and CEO William Hoover in the announcement.

Government contractor American Systems Corp. has named Edward Lussier vice president and executive director of the professional services federal market.

He will leverage the strengths of the Chantilly, Va., company’s professional services unit to expand American Systems’ footprint within the federal civilian and intelligence markets, according to an Oct. 31 company announcement.

Lussier is a seasoned professional services executive with 30 years’ experience developing and implementing solutions for federal customers.

Most recently, he served as vice president and division manager for CGI/Stanley Associates, providing strategic direction to ensure sustained improvements in quality and customer satisfaction.

Lussier previously served in a contract management and support capacity at companies including Stanley Associates, DynCorp Inc., ManTech Inc. and The M&T Company, Inc.
