ICF award expands its tech support of Head Start program

ICF International Inc. will expand its technical assistance and training for the Health and Human Services Department’s Head Start program as a result of a new contract from the HHS Administration for Children and Families worth $34.3 million.

ICF International Inc. will provide technical assistance and training to the Health and Human Services Department under a 54-month contract worth $34.3 million.

The award, from HHS’ Administration for Children and Families, calls for ICF International to support one new region and one re-compete region of the Head Start program.

Under the contract, ICF will provide training and technical consulting assistance, conference facilitation and collaboration, and program management services to grantees in national regions XI (American Indian and Alaska Native programs) and XII (Migrant and Seasonal programs).

ICF’s efforts will support the Head Start goals of enhancing the quality of services that children and families receive in order to improve outcomes for children as they prepare to enter school.
