CGI continues tech support for Marine Corps storage system

CGI Federal Inc. has won a five-year contract renewal worth $20.16 million to provide software support to the Marine Corps.

The award – which originated with the Marine Corps Systems Command Global Combat Support System in the Marine Corp Logistics Information Systems Office – calls for CGI to provide post-deployment software support for the Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System, known as STRATIS, an Oct. 19 CGI announcement said.

Under the contract renewal, CGI will provide program management, systems operation and maintenance, on-site system administration at military posts and deployed STRATIS sites. The company will also implement 24/7 technical support, information assurance, system modifications, systems integration and testing, field support to Global Combat Support Systems-Marine Corps and system documentation.

STRATIS is a warehouse logistics system that manages operations through localized computer hardware, radio frequency communications, automatic identification equipment and application software.
