DRC unit provides specialty engineering support to DOD

The four-year contract calls for HPTi to provide specialty engineering support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Systems Engineering as the office executes regulatory and statutory policy, guidance, specialty engineering, and human capital functions of large DOD acquisitions, according to a DRC announcement dated Sept. 7.
This contract will aid the DOD office as it ensures that acquisition programs are getting sufficient systems engineering support to meet cost, schedule and performance needs, the announcement states.
HPTi has been supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Systems Engineering since 2004.
DRC, of Andover, Mass., ranks No. 93 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
