Catapult launches IT upgrades, maintenance for DISA

Catapult Technology, a service-disabled veteran-owned contractor, has won a four-year, $38 million IT contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency.

Catapult will provide software applications operations and maintenance to the Army Information Technology Agency, as well as implement creative management approaches, according to a Sept. 20 company announcement.

The goal is to help the Army shrink its overall operations and management costs, it said.

“This contract win is highly strategic for Catapult,” said John Scarcella, senior vice president of Catapult's enterprise systems division. “It places us as a player within the Information Technology Agency.”

Subcontractors include Serco North America and Avaya Government Solutions
