The single award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract calls for SAIC to provide fighter operational test and evaluation (OT&E) services in support of the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, which tests and evaluates new warfighting capabilities in operationally realistic environments.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide engineering and technical test services as required in support of OT&E activities that include: integrated testing in support of fighter aircraft acquisition programs; test design, planning, execution and reporting; digital test tool development and training; and development of test capability requirements, shortfalls, and solutions.
The work will be performed primarily at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, N.M.; Edwards Air Force Base California; and Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nev.
