SAIC hires former Army doctor to direct health solutions unit
Science Applications International Corp. has hired Dr. Don Bradshaw as vice president and senior director of the company’s Health Solutions Business Unit’s Defense Health Operation.
Science Applications International Corp. has hired Dr. Don Bradshaw as vice president and senior director of the company’s Health Solutions Business Unit’s Defense Health Operation.
Bradshaw will provide executive-level support and oversight for the operation’s accounts within the Military Health System and Veterans Affairs Department, according to an SAIC announcement released today.
Before joining SAIC, he was a senior partner at Martin, Blanck and Associates, a health services consulting practice focused on federal health sector programs and services.
Bradshaw is a retired Army brigadier general whose more than 30 years of military service included commander- and director-level experience across the entire military health organization.
He also is board-certified in family medicine and medical management.
Bradshaw earned a medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, a master’s degree in public health from the University of Washington, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Wheaton College.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the American College of Physician Executives.
SAIC, of McLean, Va., ranks No. 5 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
