SAIC sows $208M worth of IT services at USDA agency

Science Applications International Corp. will provide IT services to the Agriculture Department’s Risk Management Agency under a five-year task order that could be worth as much as $208 million.

The agency helps producers manage their business through market-based risk management solutions, according to an SAIC announcement.

SAIC will provide the agency with mission support IT services including program and project management support; critical infrastructure support and information assurance. Also included in the contract are end-user support; enterprise architecture; capital planning and investment control; configuration and change management; and applications maintenance and development.

Work will be performed primarily in Kansas City, Mo., and Washington, D.C.

The task order was competitively awarded by GSA's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center under the Alliant contract.
