IRS, Lockheed veteran joins Capgemini federal practice

Capgemini Government Solutions LLC has added Lauretta Brown to its Government Solutions Federal Treasury and Regulatory Markets practice.

As a Capgemini client executive the former IRS and Lockheed Martin executive will offer domain experience, guide operations and lead national program development efforts in the public sector market, according to a company announcement.

With more than 30 years of experience in the public sector, Brown brings important insights into the key aspects of optimal systems design, development, deployment and operations, and mapping out strategic direction at the federal and state agency level.

She also will lead the effort to leverage Capgemini’s Tax and Revenue Practice experiences in Europe for possible application within the U.S. federal arena, especially at the Internal Revenue Service.

Brown has a master’s degree in business administration from University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree in computer studies from the University of Maryland. She was named to  Federal Computer Week's Fed 100 in 1999.
