FedStore adds senior VP for sales and marketing strategy

FedStore Corp. continues to revamp its executive team, hiring Jay Jabbari, a 22-year industry veteran, as senior vice president of sales. Jabbari will report directly to President Skip Trahern, who joined the IT services provider in mid-March.

He will report directly to FedStore President Skip Trahern, who joined the IT services provider in mid-March.

Jabbari will direct all sales, marketing and customer relations activities in addition to implementing the go-to-market strategies for the service-disabled veteran-owned small business based in Rockville, Md., according to a company announcement released today.

Jabbari spent seven years at Hewlett-Packard Co. before joining FedStore, starting as a district manager and rising to the position of U.S. director of federal government enterprise sales and services for the Imaging and Printing Group, a $1 billion business.

Before going to HP, he spent 15 years at Canon, where he eventually became federal branch manager in Canon’s Government Marketing Division.

Before joining FedStore, Trahern was a regional manager for Cisco Systems and before that he spent 24 years at HP, rising to the position of vice president and founder of the public-sector and education business unit for HP’s imaging and printing organization.

FedStore is one of 38 contract holders on the seven-year, multibillion-dollar NASA SEWP contract.
