ICF wins lion's share of 5 EPA awards

ICF International Inc. is one of five companies that have been named to a new Environmental Protection Agency contract to support the agency’s Information Technology Solutions -- Business Information Strategic Support II program, according to a Feb. 10 company announcement.

The EPA Office of Environmental Information’s five-year, $107.6 million contract to ICF International is the largest of the five ITS-BISS II awards.

The other contractors named to the multiple award, as reported on the EPA website, were Alon Inc., a small, 8(a) disadvantaged, minority-owned business ($99.5 million); Booz-Allen Hamilton Inc. ($99.7 million); Project Performance Corp. ($99.8 million); and Systems Research and Applications Corp., a subsidiary of SRA International Inc. ($99.7 million).

Under the contract, ICF will support or improve IT and information management planning, security, investment management and enterprise architecture functions.

The company also will provide IT and IM technical, management and expert advice and assistance, as well as IT policy, planning and analytical support.

The support covers EPA’s national programs and administrative and regional offices, as well as Office of Environmental Information customers and partners.

ICF International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 66 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors. Booz Allen Hamilton, of McLean, Va., ranks No. 9 on the list. SRA International, also of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 30.
