About our roundup

Find opportunities — and win them.

Our panel of experts ranks the biggest and most important mergers and acquisitions of 2010.

The list of mergers and acquisitions that closed in 2010 was compiled for Washington Technology by investment bank Houlihan Lokey. Deals that were announced during 2010 but not closed were not included in the roundup.

After we have the list of deals in hand, we turn it over to a panel of M&A experts, who pick the top deals according to the effects on the companies and market in addition to what the deals indicate about prevailing trends.

Feel free to comment on our choices.
