Small business wins $30M State Department modernization job
FCN will support State Departement's efforts to standardize its information technology infrastructure.
FCN Inc. won a $30 million blanket purchase agreement to help the State Department to buy products needed for its Global Information Technology Modernization program.
The goal of the modernization effort is to standardize the State Department’s IT infrastructure.
The FCN contract, awarded under the NASA SEWP vehicle, will allow State to make repetitive purchases in a streamlined, pre-negotiated manner, FCN said in a statement.
One of the key products to be sold through the contract are NetApp storage and data management solutions, the company said.
The Rockville, Md., based company sells hardware and software products and services to government agencies.
