SAIC captures $321.2M NASA consolidation contract

The company gets the first award under NASA's $4 billion Information Technology Infrastructure Integration Program.

Science Applications International Corp. won a $321.2 million contract from NASA to support the NASA Enterprise Applications Competency Center.

SAIC will provide services to operate and maintain NASA’s enterprise application systems that support all ten NASA field centers, NASA headquarters in Washington, and the NASA shared services center in Bay St. Louis, Miss.

The contract is part of the NASA Information Technology Infrastructure Integration Program, or I3P, which includes several other contracts. The SAIC award is the first contract award in this program, which has a $4 billion ceiling.

The base value of SAIC’s contract is $85.6 million, but if all options are exercised, the value of the five-year, firm-fixed price contract rises to $321.2 million.
