Bersoff hands off CEO title at ATSC

ATS Corp. will have a new CEO to start 2011, but Bersoff will remain as chairman.
Edward Bersoff is turning over the chief executive officer and president titles at ATS Corp. to Sidney Fuchs, current executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Bersoff will remain as chairman of the board after the transition is completed Jan. 1, 2011. Fuchs was promoted Oct. 19.
Fuchs joined ATSC in April after leaving OAO Technology Solutions where he was president and CEO. Prior to OAOT, he was the president of Northrop Grumman’s Information Technology’s civilian agencies group. He also previously served as president and CEO of TASC Inc., formerly a Northrop subsidiary.
“The board and I are extremely pleased to name Sid as President and CEO. Sid quickly integrated into the executive ranks since joining ATSC in April of this year and has made great strides in a short period to accelerate the pace to further position ATSC as a leader in our industry,” Bersoff said in a statement.
