Attain wants Army to attain better supply chain

Attain LLC will support the Army’s Logistics Modernization Program in Anniston, Ala., under a fifteen-month prime contract worth $3 million.

The award calls for Attain to help the Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Anniston Army Depot improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain management process by implementing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, the company said in a statement today.

As the prime contractor, Attain will work with Army personnel to provide ERP advisory and training services, including on-demand demonstrations and exercises, workshops and coaching.

The program aims to streamline the maintenance, repair and overhaul, planning, finance, acquisition and delivery of weapon systems, spare parts, services and materiel to the warfighter.

When fully implemented, the Defense Department program will support more than 17,000 users in more than 1,000 Army locations.

Attain, of Vienna, Va., has been providing support services including training, data analysis and migration, and independent verification and validation services to the Logistics Modernization Program Office since 2000, the company said.

Attain was founded in 2009 following BearingPoint’s sale to Deloitte.
