Pair of Lockheed officials assume new roles
Lockheed Martin Corp. has named Gerry Fasano president of its Information Systems & Global Solutions-Defense business, succeeding John Mengucci, who will now lead the IS&GS-Civil business.
Lockheed Martin Corp. has named Gerry Fasano president of its Information Systems & Global Solutions-Defense business, succeeding John Mengucci, who will now lead the IS&GS-Civil business.
Fasano has 26 years of experience technology experience, serving most recently as deputy president of Lockheed’s IS&GS-Security business, according to a newly released company announcement.
He holds a master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
Mengucci had been president of the Information Systems & Global Services-Defense unit.
Lockheed’s Information Systems & Global Services business unit has six units, 53,000 employees and more than $11 billion in annual sales.
Lockheed Martin, of Bethesda, Md., ranks No. 1 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
