Apptis aids GSA monitoring of agencies' Networx transition

Apptis Inc. has won a three-year contract from the General Services Administration worth $9 million to provide support services to GSA as it helps agencies complete the transition from the FTS2001 family of contracts to Networx.

Under the Transition Coordination Center Support Services contract, Apptis will provide various services to the GSA center including telecom transition subject matter expertise, customer outreach to federal agencies—including one-on-one support—and tier II service desk support to assist the agency’s users, the company said in an announcement today.

In addition, Apptis will continue to provide transition status reporting to Congress and the Office of Management and Budget on database development and administration, and program management support.

The Apptis-led team includes management professionals BCCP Consulting, a strategic partner in providing telecommunications management solutions to the federal government.

This award expands Apptis’ role as a GSA partner managing and assisting agencies as they complete the transition from the FTS2001 contracts to Networx.

Under a previous contract, Apptis developed the metrics, data collection, analysis and reporting procedures to deliver transition program status to GSA, OMB and Congress that provided relevant information on the status of the Neworx transition across the federal government.
