Dynamics Research to assist DHS with security compliance

Dynamics Research Corp. will help provide information security support services to the Homeland Security Department under a task order valued at $15.4 million.

Under the task order, Dynamics Research will maintain the DHS inventory for compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act, provide technical subject matter expertise to assist in developing and managing remediation plans and milestones in response to audit findings of weaknesses, and provide training to information security personnel across DHS.

Dynamics Research also will continue its previous work to help support the implementation of the DHS Information Security Performance Plan and compliance with FISMA. In addition, the company will conduct certification and accreditation document reviews, technical reviews of critical controls and review of information security programs within DHS agencies.

The contractor will perform the work for DHS Information Security Office, Compliance Division. The 10-month contract, which was awarded through the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions program, has three one-year options. 

Dynamics Research is based in Andover, Mass. In recent months, it has received other contracts from the department.
