AT&T to support Marine Corps Logistics Command
AT&T Government Solutions Inc. will furnish information technology support services to the Marine Corps Logistics Command under a one-year, $6.4 million task order.
AT&T Government Solutions Inc. will furnish information technology support services to the Headquarters Marine Corps Logistics Command under a one-year, $6.4 million task order.
Under the task order, AT&T will provide a wide array of IT support services to the organization’s Command, Control, Communications and Computers’ enterprise and logistics support divisions, Defense Department officials said Dec. 10.
Among the support services covered are help desk, software applications and development, and IT project management. The contractor also will handle information assurance and enterprise backup and recovery.
The work will be performed in Albany, Ga. The Marine Corps Systems Command is the contracting activity.
The company announced this week that it had won a $120 million contract to provide network services support to the U.S. Postal Service.
AT&T Government Solutions, of Vienna, Va., is a unit of AT&T Inc., of San Antonio. The parent company ranks No. 42 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
