Stanley wins contract to manage Army materiel

Stanley Inc. will assist the Army to manage and maintain its materiel stockpiles under a five-year contract valued at $118.7 million.

Stanley Inc. will assist the Army to manage and maintain the service's materiel operations under a five-year contract valued at $118.7 million.

The award is a recompete of the Army War Reserve Deployment System contract.

Under this award, Stanley will provide technical and functional expertise in the areas of information systems design, integration, analysis and user training.

Also the contractor will provide data cleansing, data mapping, migration, and server and systems integration and upgrades.

Stanley is assisting the Army Materiel Command, Army Sustainment Command and Installation Maintenance Divisions sustain the Army Preposition Stock and Army Maintenance Management capabilities.

It will also enable them to maintain tracking and identification of equipment stored and serviced at designated facilities worldwide.

The work will take place in Alexandria, Va., and at more than 50 locations in the continental United States and overseas. Stanley has provided support to the Army since 1994.
