Perot hires Fagan to manage Space and Earth Tech Sector
Perot Systems Government Services has hired Shana Dale Fagan as senior vice president of the Space and Earth Technology Services sector, a unit within the Federal Civilian Division.
Perot Systems Government Services has hired Shana Dale Fagan as senior vice president of the Space and Earth Technology Services sector, a unit within the Federal Civilian Division.
She will lead a $100 million organization that delivers science, engineering, consulting and information technology services to NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration clients, and other federal science and technology clients.
Fagan most recently served as NASA deputy administrator from 2005 to 2009. In this role, she was second-in-command, chief acquisition officer and Operations Management Council chair, responsible for a $17 billion annual budget and planning and policy for the agency’s 18,000 federal employees.
She also has served as deputy director for homeland and national security and general counsel at the U.S. Office of Science and Technology Policy within the White House.
Perot Systems, of Plano, Texas, ranks No. 40 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors. Dell Inc. is making a bid to acquire Perot.
