The award calls for K4 to establish and operate an applications processing center for HHS’ Health Research Services Administration (HRSA) that will replace the existing mainframe database at the Bureau of Health Care Delivery and Assistance, the company has announced.
The database contains information collected from individual scholarship and loan repayment applications, and recruitment and retention assistance applications, among others.
The new tracking system devised by the Falls Church, Va., woman-owned, small disadvantaged business and its subcontractor, IQ Solutions Inc., will speed scholarship awards, loan repayments and notifications, and in the process HRSA hopes to increase the number of awards it can make.
