NCI oversees Army BRAC move to Fort Bragg

NCI Inc. will lead a team assisting the Army’s Base Realignment and Closure program under a 28-month task order valued at $48.9 million.

Awarded through the Total Engineering Integrated Services contract, NCI will provide engineering and technical support for the relocation of the Army Forces Command and Army Reserve Command to their new combined headquarters at Fort Bragg, N.C., from multiple sites in the Atlanta area.

Under the task order, NCI and its team of Booz Allen Hamilton, Pershing Technologies and RLM Communications will provide engineering, procurement, installation, cutover, and testing services for the command, control, communications, computers and intelligence/information technology (C4I/IT) systems at the new facilities.

C4I/IT systems include data networks, voice networks, audiovisual briefing and display systems, video-teleconferencing systems, and radio frequency and satellite systems, company officials said.

The engineering and technical services will support the overall BRAC relocation activities managed by the Army Information Systems Engineering Command, Enterprise Systems Engineering Directorate at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
