NCI acquires intel IT consultant TRS
NCI Inc., a provider of information technology services to the federal government, has acquired TRS Consulting Inc., a provider of mission-critical software.
NCI Inc., a provider of information technology services to the federal government, has acquired TRS Consulting Inc. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2001, TRS, of Reston, Va., is a supplier of technology and consulting services to the intelligence community.
The private company provides mission-critical software development, database management, and analytical computing solutions focused on information-sharing and collaboration, NCI officials said.
TRS, a private company, has approximately 60 skilled and cleared professional employees who will be integrated into the acquiring company.
TRS has outstanding technical credentials and experience in supporting important national programs addressing some of the most critical missions in the Intelligence Community, said Terry Glasgow, NCI president.
“This acquisition will support our long-term growth goals and provide us access to new customers and new service offerings,” he said.
NCI, of Reston, Va., ranks No. 72 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
