Trace Systems acquires SynExi

Trace Systems Inc. has completed its acquisition of SynExi LLC, a systems engineering company in Fairfax, Va.

Financial terms were not released.

SynExi provides systems engineering, enterprise architecture and technology transition services. Its founders, Chuck Lynch and Dale Geesey, are industry experts in the IPv6 community.

Both executives have provided IPv6, technology transition, enterprise architecture, continuity-of-operations, systems engineering, training, and testing expertise to organizations such as the Defense Information Systems Agency, Veterans Affairs Department, Navy, and Small Business Administration.

“The acquisition of SynExi adds strength to our engineering and technical services offering, specifically in the areas that are critical for our Department of Defense and Homeland Security [Department] customers,” said Otto Hoernig, chief executive officer of Trace Systems.

Trace Systems, of McLean, Va., is a systems integrator and technical services provider of communications, networking, information technology and other solutions for DOD, DHS and the intelligence community.
