US Investigations Services has acquired Labat-Anderson, a professional services firm that provides litigation support and information systems to government agencies.
US Investigations Services Inc., a provider of security investigation services to the federal government, has acquired Labat-Anderson Inc., a professional services firm that serves government agencies in the areas of litigation support and information systems.
Financial terms of the transaction were not announced.
Labat-Anderson and its more than 700 employees will operate as a stand-alone division in USIS’ Government Solutions Group in Falls Church, Va., joining the company’s Investigative Services Division and National Security Division, USIS officials said.
“Labat-Anderson’s specialized approach to the markets it services fits the solutions approach we use with our government customers,” said Bill Mixon, president and chief executive officer of USIS’ Government Solutions Group.
“We believe the investments we will make in this business will not only well serve Labat-Anderson’s current government customers, but will help us broaden the range of services we can deliver to our existing government customers,” Mixon added.
Investment banking firm KippsDeSanto and Co. was the sell-side adviser on the deal.
