NVTC, mySBX partner on contracting opportunities

The Northern Virginia Technology Council has entered into a partnership with mySBX, a network for government contractors and professionals.

The Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Entrepreneur Center @NVTC has entered into a partnership with mySBX, a network for government contractors and professionals, to exchange opportunities, resources, and information.

The goal of the partnership is to assist NVTC member companies win more business, expand capabilities, and increase profitability.

“With this exciting partnership, we will redefine what online business networking is going to be in the next decade,” Kristin D’Amore, director of The Entrepreneur Center @NVTC, said in announcing the partnership today.

With mySBX’s networking expertise, contractors can gain the opportunity to access the burgeoning online business world, she said.

Interested officials can visit www.nvtc.org, to access a registration page and sign up for mySBX. From there, users will be able to interact with other mySBX members to share common experiences, learn best practices, and assist one another in finding contracting opportunities.

Government contractors will have the ability to connect with larger contractors for subcontracting and teaming opportunities.

Services include a section for hosting documents and training materials, a section of updated and ranked sources for community key players, as well as sections for service and technology providers, government agencies, useful Web sites and professional associations.

Broadening our company base will ensure that more businessmen and women will be able to find the tools they need to expand their businesses in a challenging economy, said Jeff White, co-founder of mySBX.
