Jim Allen named CFO at Global Strategies Group

Global Strategies Group of North America Inc. has hired Jim Allen as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

During his 30-year career, Allen has served as CFO at several publicly traded companies in the federal information technology services sector. Those companies include CACI International Inc., GRC International and Veridian Corp.

While at Veridian, Allen helped lead the successful initial public offering in 2002 and the company’s eventual sale to General Dynamics Corp. in 2003. His experience includes public and private financing activities, investor relations and a 20-year history of mergers and acquisitions.

Allen’s financial expertise and experience will be invaluable in leveraging the company's rapid growth to become a larger and even more capable mission partner for our national security community customers, said John Hillen, president and CEO of Global North America, a McLean, Va., provider of defense technologies to the national security community.

Allen received a bachelor’s of science and a master’s of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He has been a certified public accountant since 1974.
