Perot Systems will bolster DOD travel services

Perot Systems Corp. will provide information technology services to the Defense Department under a new three-year contract worth $15 million.

Perot Systems Corp. will provide a variety of information technology services to the Defense Department under a three-year contract worth $15 million.

The award calls for Perot Systems Government Services to furnish commercial travel management services to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, Defense Travel Management Office, company officials said.

The services include strategic planning, policy analysis, information management, economic analysis and contracts administration.

Perot Systems has been involved with the transformation of the Defense Department’s travel business process for more than 12 years.

Perot Systems, of Plano, Texas, ranks No. 41 on Washington Technology’s 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
