SRA to provide conflict-resolution support to EPA
SRA International will support the EPA’s conflict-resolution programs under a five-year, $55 million contract renewal.
SRA International Inc. will support the Environmental Protection Agency’s conflict-resolution programs under a five-year award that has a potential value of $55 million.
Having won a re-compete of the EPA Conflict Prevention and Resolution Center contract, SRA will continue to provide situation assessment for problem solving, contracting facilitators and mediators, and delivering support for arbitration, collaboration and Web-based problem solving.
The CPRC develops and implements EPA alternative dispute-resolution (ADR) policy, administers agencywide ADR programs, coordinates case management and evaluation, and provides support to program-specific ADR activities. The center also assists other EPA offices in developing effective ways to anticipate, prevent and resolve disputes, and makes neutral third parties more readily available for those purposes.
Under the contract renewal, SRA also will continue to provide EPA headquarters and regional offices with simple, rapid access to quality public consultation, collaborative problem solving and dispute resolution assistance, said Peter Trick, vice president of SRA’s environmental and organizational services.
SRA has been providing environmental conflict resolution services to the CPRC for 10 years, company officials said in a Feb. 25 announcement.
SRA International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 32 on Washington Technology’s 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
