DRC will provide management support to DHS

Dynamics Research Corp. will provide management support to the Homeland Security Department under a $1.5 million task order.

Under the terms of the contract, DRC will provide a variety of services that support DHS’ Office of Intelligence and Analysis that include technologies, mission-related planning, deployment, operations and maintenance activities for critical projects.

That office is responsible for using information and intelligence gathered from various sources to identify and assess current and future threats to the United States, DRC officials said. The company’s program management support efforts will allow the office to more effectively obtain, use and share such intelligence with DHS and other mission partners, they added.

DRC will broaden the office's program management expertise to support the closeout phases of existing services and improve its cyber security and system performance, said Jim Regan, DRC's chairman and chief executive officer.

The task order, which has a one-year base period and two option years, was awarded through the DHS Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions contract.

Dynamics Research is a 53-year-old engineering and government information technology services provider based in Andover, Mass.
