SI to manage bonds for ICE

SI International Inc. has won a contract valued at $20.5 million to manage case inquiries and review bonds for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

Under the contract, SI will provide bond control specialists to review, update and record the disposition of bonds related to illegal aliens who are being held in custody and removed from the United States. SI also will manage case inquiries for aliens.

The contract reflects SI's continued interest in providing records management services to the federal government, Brad Antle, president of SI International, said in a news release.

"Mission-critical outsourcing will continue to be a major focus for SI International as the U.S. government has a growing need for technical skills and IT expertise from the contractor community," he said.

The contract has a six-month base period with four one-year options, the company said.

SI International, based in Reston, Va., ranks No. 42 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
