Two companies win Navy net-centric work
Centurum Inc. and Scientific Research Corp. will compete against each other to provide network-centric services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
Centurum Inc. and Scientific Research Corp. won contracts to provide network-centric services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
The two companies will compete against each other for individual task orders. The total value of all task orders awarded over the life of these two contracts could reach $420 million.
The guaranteed minimum amount is $100,000 for each contractor. Services that may be ordered under these contracts include engineering and technical support services in development, test and evaluation, and life cycle support of communications systems, subsystems and equipment. The one-year contracts could be extended for six additional years.
The companies will perform the work in Charleston, S.C. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
Centurum is based in McLean, Va., and Scientific Research Corp. is located in Atlanta, Ga.
