SkillSoft grabs Air Force training deal
SkillSoft PLC will provide courseware, searchable online books, learning management technology and mentoring services to U.S. Air Force personnel under a new contract.
SkillSoft PLC will provide courseware, searchable online books, learning management technology and mentoring services to U.S. Air Force personnel under a new $14 million contract.
SkillSoft signed the five-year contract with the Air Force Communications Agency.
Under the contract, the e-learning company will provide services for up to 700,000 Air Force personnel worldwide. The Air Force intends the training to support information technology certification programs, continuing professional education, new technology rollouts and other IT education priorities. It will also help the Air Force meet Department of Defense information assurance training, certification and workforce management requirements.
