New eVenture group wins $330M systems engineering deal

A joint venture has received a five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract as a small business set-aside from the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center New Orleans.

The contract, to provide technical support for Navy-wide information systems such as the manpower and human resources systems that serve all Navy personnel, was awarded to eVenture Technologies LLC, a joint venture formed by CACI International Inc. of Arlington, Va., and ActioNet Inc., an 8(a) woman-owned company based in Fairfax, Va. The company is a protégé of CACI under the Small Business Administration's mentor-protégé program.

eVenture will provide systems engineering and technical support to SSC NOLA for the development, maintenance, integration and security of systems that include hundreds of legacy manpower and personnel networks, applications and databases. Such systems help the Navy determine force allocations for ship and shore locations, and provide enlisted personnel with payroll, benefits, promotion and other work-life information.
