Future Technologies wins Naval Surface Warfare Center contract
Future Technologies Inc. of Fairfax, Va., won a five-year, $21.3 million contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center to support the Aegis Weapon System, Combat System and Computer Center; and the Integrated Warfare System Laboratory.
Future Technologies Inc. of Fairfax, Va., won a five-year, $21.3 million contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va., company officials announced Sept. 23.
Under the cost-plus award fee contract, FTI will support the Aegis Weapon System, Combat System and Computer Center; and the Integrated Warfare System Laboratory.
FTI's work will include systems engineering, tactical and simulation evaluation and access control, computer media library management and technical writing support. FTI's subcontractors are Northrop Grumman Corp. and ParaTech Inc. of Fredericksburg, Va.
FTI and ParaTech have supported Naval Surface Warfare Center and the Aegis program for the last 10 years, according to FTI officials.
FTI, a small business, provides software development, program management, financial management analysis, training, logistics planning and systems integration. Its other clients include the U.S. Special Operations Forces System Acquisition Center, Joint Special Operations Center and Pope Air Force Base.
