DynCorp wins $850M EPA task

DynCorp won a seven-year, $850 million task order from the Environmental Protection Agency to provide integrated IT solutions and telecommunications services to EPA offices around the country. The task order under the Millennia contract combines two previous contracts. The agency is trying to build a national IT infrastructure. DynCorp will be responsible for overall management, task integration and national telecommunications. The prime subcontractor, IBM Corp., will provide enterprise server, e-mail, web and application hosting. Other partners include PlanetGov Inc., Veridian Corp. and KPMG Consulting Inc.
