This coming Friday, hear research on how Pentagon leaders perceive the defense industrial base and a one-on-one interview with the new leader of the Army's program executive office for IT.

Washington Technology is producing a special event on Friday focused on the defense market and what you need to know to increase your company's chances of success.

Part of the event will focus on market positioning with a presentation of research on how Pentagon leaders perceive new and existing partners. This critical information can help your sales, marketing and strategy planning teams shape their message to target defense organizations.

Aaron Heffron, president for research and forecasting with GovExec and Market Connections, will share a research report on trends in the defense market how some of the top contractors in the market are viewed by their customers.

Lauren Williams, Defense One senior editor, will sit down with Forecast International defense analyst Derek Bisaccio for a discussion centered on strategic analysis of the defense market.

I will be there as well to conduct a one-on-one interview with Bill Hepworth, who leads the Army Program Executive Office – Enterprise Information Systems. That office has a broad portfolio of IT programs, so he will have a lot to share.

Hepworth is also new in the position, so this will be one of the first public opportunities to hear from him about his plans and priorities.

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 15 with breakfast and networking. The program will begin at 8:30 a.m. and everything should wrap up by 10:15 a.m. We are hosting the event at the Carahsoft Conference & Collaboration Center in Reston, Virginia.
