Science Applications International Corp. looks within its own executive ranks for this appointment.

Science Applications International Corp. has named a new senior vice president for its intelligence business unit.

Bill Edmunds was promoted to the role and will report to Michael LaRouche, president of SAIC’s national security and space sector.

Edmunds first joined SAIC in 2021 as a vice president in the intelligence business. He previously worked in executive roles at CACI International, Lockheed Martin and the former Engility Corp.

“Bill is a dedicated and skilled leader, whose industry knowledge in national intelligence will provide our customers with solutions to support the nation’s most critical missions,” LaRouche said in a release.

Edmunds steps into the role formerly held by Vern Saunders, who left SAIC in February to become CEO of Freedom Consulting Group.
