Sevatec to build new identity platform for USCIS
Sevatec has been picked to develop an authentication and identity proofing platform for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The Homeland Security Department awarded the $22.5 million task order through an unrestricted competition under the Alliant 2 vehicle.
Known as Accounts Public, the program will bring together emerging identify capabilities and DevSecOps delivery to create a solution that will provide secure access to digital immigration benefit services. Sevatec will modernize identity management systems for public websites and IT systems in the cloud.
“Our experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and a mindset and practice of automating everything possible through code has resulted in measurable value for our federal customers,” said Sonny Kakar, Sevatec’s founder and CEO.
Sevatec described USCIS as “one of the most forward leaning IT service delivery agencies in the federal government.”
“To say this win was tough is an understatement,” Kakar said. “It was more than seven months in the making against fierce competition with code submissions and a full-day technical challenge.”
Sevatec’s team for the project includes Excella and Capital Technology Group.
