NGA developing geospatial data processing contract

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is developing a contract to support how it collects and process incoming data.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has started work to develop the next version of its contract to support how NGA collects and processes incoming data.\

According to a new FedBizOpps notice, the GEOINT Data Transformation Service III contract will be used to process data so it is more easily searched.

The data is stored in the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence libraries and other locations. The data includes full-motion video.

One goal of GDTS III is to be able to disseminate the data in near-real time and at multiple security levels.

Responses to the request for information are due Sept. 10.

Information on the incumbent and the value of the contact was not available.
