Salient CRGT has earned the first option under a $482 million contract to support the Defense Department’s information networks, cyber and engineering services.
Salient CRGT has earned the first option under a $482 million contract to support the Defense Department’s information networks, cyber and engineering services.
The company first won the contract called SANDBAR in 2019 as a task order under the Alliant 2 vehicle. DOD customers that use SANDBAR include the combatant commands, the Air Force, Space Force, Navy, Marine Corps and other defense agencies.
Work includes the design, development, deployment and lifecycle management of specialized IT with a focus on operations and maintenance, integration, and system modernization of warfighter networks; and C4ISR, cyber operations, and software development support.
The contract runs through September 2024 if all options are exercised.
