CACI hires former White House staffer

CACI International has named a former White House staffer as a corporate strategic adviser and senior vice president focused on national defense and homeland security.

CACI International has hired former White House staffer Daniel Walsh as corporate strategic adviser and senior vice president.

He will support development of CACI’s national defense and homeland security business, as well as lend expertise on industry issues and client relationships, the company said Wednesday.

Walsh served in the White House under three different administrations and also had a 24-year Coast Guard career. He most recently was White House deputy chief of staff for operations and was responsible for security, technology, and military support for the president; plus day-to-day management of the White House, Executive Office, schedule and travel operations.
