SeKON Enterprise, a woman-owned small business in Arlington, Virginia, has received a $32.7 million contract modification from the Defense Health Agency to provide engineering, cybersecurity and configuration management support services for the organization overseeing DOD's electronic health record initiative.
This modification pushes the value of the contract to $144.3 million. The contract was awarded through the NIH CIO-SP3 contract that SeKON holds.
The Program Executive Officer for Defense Health Care Management Systems is an acquisition organization charged with modernizing DOD’s electronic health record system and data sharing. One of the programs it oversees is the Genesis contract held by Leidos.
Under its contract, SeKON supports the PEO with systems engineering processes, cybersecurity processes, data management and governance, synthetic test data, process and software tool support and enterprise solutions architecture.
The modification extends contract work through Jan. 28, 2020.
