VA floats cloud-based Vista RFI
The Veterans Affairs Department wants help from industry on how it can get a cloud-based form of its Vista electronic health record system.
The Veterans Affairs Department has asked vendors for ideas on how the agency could get a cloud-based form of its Vista electronic health record system, according to our sister publication FCW.
An April 12 request for information from the VA details the department's goal to reduce 130 instances of Vista at five physical data centers into a single version maintained by a vendor.
A vendor would provide the cloud-based, commercial form of Vista to the VA on a software-as-a-service basis.
