ManTech International has bolstered its IT solutions in the federal health space through its acquisition of Edaptive Systems.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but ManTech said in a release that it funded the acquisition from cash on hand.
Owings Mills, Md.-based Edaptive was founded in 1999 and works with the Health and Human Services Department, specifically with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The company provides agile software development, testing and automation, business intelligence, data abstraction and IT services.
The acquisition will bring over 250 new employees to ManTech, the company said. Edaptive Solutions will become part of ManTech’s Mission Solutions and Services Group.
KippsDeSanto served as financial advisor to Edaptive Solutions for the deal.
This is ManTech's second acquisition of 2016. In June it acquired Ocean's Edge, a cybersecurity firm.
